Description

Chromium oxide green is a dark green crystalline powder with a metallic luster, belonging to the hexagonal crystal system. The relative density is 5.2, the Mohs hardness is 9, the melting point is 2266 ± 25 ºC, the boiling point is above 3000 ºC, and the chemical properties are extremely stable. Insoluble in water and ethanol, both acid and alkali resistant.

Application:

It can be used as a green pigment in printing inks and coatings. In addition, it has a wide range of applications as a coloring agent in glass, ceramic tiles, ceramic vessels, and other fields. It can also be used as a oil-based grinding material such as green oil due to its hard properties. It can be used for grinding substrates and surface polishing during chrome plating and nickel plating.
